I am a lifelong San Fernando Valley local. I started Inside the 818 because I want people to feel more connected to the Valley and to the people who make it special.

That means championing small mom-and-pop businesses, highlighting community events, sharing volunteer opportunities, and giving more attention to the local stories that deserve to be seen.

There are people doing incredible work all over the Valley: families running neighborhood restaurants, small business owners taking a chance on an idea, volunteers helping their neighbors, and organizations creating places for people to come together.

My goal is simple: help more people discover them, support them, and show up.
